He returns with Sofia, gets a plastic surgery to get his face reconstructed, and they lived happily ever after. After falling in love with Sofia, Julianna decides to kill him and herself in a car accident, except that he survives terribly disfigured. Guy fucks occasionally Julianna (Cameron Diaz). In Vanilla Sky you're given a story, and a twist in the middle of it. One thing that struck me was the difference about the ending of both movies.
